Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical Job Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Current and valid state RN License Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Must-Have: COVID vaccination/boosters preferred Job Description: - Responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. - Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. - Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. - Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients. - Communicate with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. - Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
