Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision of safe and age-appropriate care to patients by performing all exams provided by the department per department protocols.
• Obtain and present clinical information regarding job responsibilities on a routine basis.
• Position patients for procedures and set up equipment to provide imaging services.
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in the utilization of equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.
• Independently perform job functions and maintain a high level of productivity.Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Med Tech certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting caring for patients or minimum 1 year NM experience.Preferred Qualifications
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to function independently and under pressure.
    • Ability to prioritize appropriately and multitask effectively.
    • Detail-oriented and able to interact professionally with a variety of customers.Working ConditionsThis position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of productivity while providing excellent customer service.
