Job Description:
Provide safe, age-appropriate care to patients by performing exams and procedures in the Nuclear Medicine department. Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup, ensuring proper diagnostic studies and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Adjust technique for optimal image quality and patient safety.
  
• Clean and maintain equipment according to infection control policy.
  
• Verify patient identity and order for procedures.
  
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and review images for clinically acceptable results.
  
• Respond to emergencies and maintain crash cart and life support equipment.
  
• Assist with procedures, exams, and patient care.
  
• Document patient information and procedures.
  
• Restock linens and supplies, and maintain a clean and orderly department.
  
• Transport patients, position them, and assist with procedures.
  
• Perform patient charging activities and apply immobilization devices.
  
• Operate NM equipment and maintain Joint Commission standards.
  
  Requirements:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate of an approved AMA Nuclear Medicine Program.
    
  • ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Med Tech certification.
    
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA).
    
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical setting or 1 year NM experience.
    
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
    
  • Able to function independently and under pressure, with a detail-oriented and multitasking ability.
