Ocean Import Coordinator

Ocean Import Coordinator - Atlanta, Georgia. Are you an experienced Ocean Imports Coordinator who is looking to join a company that will value and empower you? The Woodland Group are looking for an Import Coordinator to join our team looking after Ocean Imports based in Atlanta, Georgia! The Import Coordinator will report to and work with the Operations Manager and be responsible for liaising between customers, suppliers and transport companies to ensure an efficient operational service is provided.

What you will be doing:

• Liaising with the relevant parties to obtain the correct information to ensure the correct measures are in place
  
• Offering excellent levels of customer service by phone, email and online systems
  
• Liaising between forwarders, custom brokers and customers to obtain the information to proceed with customs formalities
  
• Providing transport companies with the relevant information to ensure customer delivery requirements are met
  
• Maintaining and costing files
  
• Checking and monitoring arrivals
  
• Booking and arranging custom clearances
  
• Arranging transportation of shipments
  About you:
  You'll be experienced in Ocean Imports.
